Great Help for Sustainable Operations
Reducing food waste is highly prioritized in the industry, both to save the environment and money. In addition to measuring waste, it's also necessary that the registration is as simple as possible for kitchen staff in a busy everyday life. Therefore, Millum has developed a function for registering food waste as part of an existing product that is already in use.
Simple App for Food Waste
The function is developed for both PC and as an app. The app works offline and communicates with the PC version. In the app, you can collect data from up to 5 different areas to find out where most waste occurs, and thus have full control over what and where the quantity can be reduced. The results are downloaded in Excel. The areas that can be divided into are:
- Production
- Buffet/service
- Guest
- Storage
- Other, optional
Food Waste Function for Those With Menu Bank
The function is a simple addition for those who already have Menu Bank but can also be used without it. To register waste via the app, you log in with the same username and password that you use in Millum Procurement. Reports can be downloaded and sent directly to the "CutFoodWaste 2030" project if you are participating in it.
